Here is a simple, cheap and easy Home-Made insect repellent. Yes! it's a do-it-yourself.... And is well-knowed for fishermen, and those who likes outdoor sports, uses to sleep in camping Tents, and sleep-bags, and enjoy outfitters for adventure in places such wild country, -etc.

Ingredientes:

1 liter of 90 proof alcohol
12 dried Cloves
2 pieces of Camphor, also knowed as 'camphor-tree' (Cinnamomum camphora)
This are small Pieces, and about the size of a bean.

Let all into the solution for 8 days. After that time is ready for use as mosquito repellent.
